ADHD can affect a child at any stage of their
development and may have a dramatic effect upon their home, school and family life.
Therefore being a
parent or teacher of a child with ADHD is challenging.
Understandably, whilst they come to terms with how best to help
the child, parents or carers can be very demanding. It may take
time to get their full attention and cooperation, and this can
make it difficult for you to establish a relationship and open a
dialogue with the child.
So here at Shire we’ve developed
a range of support tools to help you help the parents and
children you manage.
